Originally born and raised in Boston, MA, I’ve found my 2nd home here in San Diego starting in 2004. I’ve spent many years in the hospitality industry which has fueled my love for helping and providing for others. Balanced Fitness & Health has blessed me with the opportunity to give back to the community with health and wellness now as my service tool. I continue to do what I’m passionate about as a personal trainer and becoming intimately involved in member growth and development in becoming their best selves.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients both males and females, teenagers up through late adulthood; all with a variety of needs, restrictions, injuries, and goals ranging from small fitness maintenance to big whole-body transformations. With a background in strength training, functional movement, sport specific and performance training I use these experiences to help build the best program that will effectively and efficiently reach the goals of each individual client. Through these customized programs we will develop better life habits and educate ourselves on continued daily improvement and building fitness endurance.
TRISH KEEFER
FOUNDER - STOKED BODIES INC
I am Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, with a BS in Biology and Psychology from UCSD. I founded Stoked Bodies Physique Transformation, which includes both in-person and online customized fitness and nutrition coaching to work with individuals who want to improve their strength and metabolic health through targeted exercise and proper nutrition. I work with clients ranging in age from 12 to 85, and absolutely love the individual journey I take with each of them. When it comes to exercise and nutrition, I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach, rather I assess the specific needs of my clients based on their age, health status, and goals (lose weight, build muscle and strength, improve heart health, increase bone density, reverse auto-immune disorders, prepare for a specific sport, etc.), in order to customize programs specifically for them.
I find that this individualized attention brings the greatest results, and my clients know that I am truly concerned for THEIR overall well-being.

In 2016, after leaving my birthplace of Ethiopia, I found a new home in sunny San Diego. I quickly fell in love with the sport of Football. After many injuries and during my final year of playing, my aspirations to continue ended. While working with my physical therapist, I realized the healing power of rehabilitation. I quickly developed a passion for helping others through fitness & training. Shortly after graduation I immersed myself in the health & fitness industry, right here at Balanced Fitness & Health. In the past 4 years I was mentored by many colleagues and received my Certificate in Personal Training from the International Sports Sciences Association. My skills & techniques have been developed through working with an array of clients, with specific goals and challenges. I specialize in both one on one training as well as group sessions. I am currently pursuing a degree to be a registered nurse and have an interest in acting and film. My faith has led me to believe that helping others to improve themselves is my true calling.

I’m Antonio, I am a certified personal trainer with a degree in Exercise Science. Originally from Washington state, I grew up playing sports and maintaining an active lifestyle. I am passionate about guiding others into deeper healing and transformation in both body and soul. As a trauma informed PsychoNeuroEnergetics (PNE) practitioner in training, I specialize in nervous system regulation and trauma resolution through point holding, somatic inquiry, and embodied practices. This work helps release stored survival patterns and supports the rewiring of the nervous system, allowing clients to experience greater freedom, clarity, and peace.
Rooted in a strong faith in God, I feel called to create safe, supportive spaces where others can find restoration and renewal. Alongside my PNE training, I am also a personal trainer, and have the vision of blending nervous system healing and physical fitness into a holistic approach that empowers lasting health, resilience, and vitality.
